Information for 2025 season:

We are once again doing online ticket sales only. This has worked out really well for everyone the last few years. We are a walk through event, but we schedule by vehicle to try and keep the traffic limited. It's not a drive through event. You get to plan your night, arrive on time and get right into the trail without long wait times. Once again, rain or shine we will have a show. The under roof portions of the trail (Lurid Labyrinth & Haunted Maze) are re-configured in the event of rain (Deadwood Forest will be closed) and we keep you dry and pack more into a smaller area! All 3 locations are included for $10/person. The normal time to complete the event once it is your turn is around 25 to 30 min.

Please be on time for your appointments. We will have a very time sensitive procedure going that requires everyone to be lined up and ready to go at your scheduled time. Please show up at our facility on time, or up to 15 minutes early. You have a parking spot associated with your time and we will guide you to it upon arrival and then when it's your turn we will release you up to our event entrance (upper parking lot). The parking staff will fully take care of you and guide you. Please listen to their instructions.

We have t-shirts for sale at the trail with the CarnEvil logo (and some from past years too) for $15 each. The purchase of these helps cover the cost of t-shirts provided to our dedicated crew for free. Please consider grabbing one as a thank you to our staff.

We do have cameras in use and attempt to provide you your own "Scare cam" pictures for purchase at the end of the trail!

Once upon a time, beneath striped canvas and flickering gaslights, the most magnificent carnival in all the land drew crowds from far and wide. The Midnight Spectacular boasted hilarious clowns, mysterious fortune tellers, strongmen who could bend iron with their bare hands, and performers whose talents seemed to defy the very laws of nature itself.
But fame comes with a price, and magic always demands payment.
It started with whispers—hushed rumors that the carnival's success was too good, too perfect, too... unnatural. Then came the accidents. A tightrope walker's rope snapped at the precise moment of her most daring trick. The mesmerist's hypnotic shows began leaving audience members in a trance that never ended, their eyes vacant and their movements stiff and jerky. The horse master's beloved steeds turned on him with eyes that glowed like crimson embers in the dark.
One by one, the "accidents" claimed performers, workers, and even spectators. Towns began to turn them away. Accusations of curses and dark magic followed in their wake. The once-celebrated carnival became outcasts, driven from town to town by fear and superstition.
With nowhere left to go and no family but each other, the surviving carnival folk made a fateful decision. If the world had branded them as cursed, then cursed they would be. Deep in the woods, far from prying eyes and judgmental bans, they built their own twisted version of the show that once brought them glory. Here, in their new space, there is no guarantee you'll leave the same as when you entered.
The ringmaster still calls the show, the performers still dazzle and amaze, and the carnival workers still welcome guests with painted smiles. However, this is their show now—darker, stranger, and hungry for new visitors.
As they say - the show must go on, so come one, come all to...
